USA Driven

The First of Its Kind

The Casmir Autosport All American Junior Racing Team is a 100% scholarship program for young American drivers. Drivers are selected from an open enrollment process. Since there is no cost to the driver or their family, the talent pool is limitless. This talent only selection process has never been done before.

Every year twenty 12 year olds will be named to the AAJRT rookie class. This rookie class will compete in 10 events in equally prepared racing karts. At each event, the driver will receive driver coaching in race craft and setup. Every driver and their parents will be tutored in the business side of motorsports. We’ll have classes on public speaking, media relations and sponsor relations. At the end of the year 10 drivers will advance to the second year (Category 3) in the program. Advancement will be based on what we call "The Package". "The Package" is a combination of on track talent and off track personality. Being fast alone won’t be enough to advance. Each driver will have to prove they can conduct themselves professionally and are willing to be coached both on and off the track.

The ten drivers, now age 13, who advance to Category 3 will also compete in 10 events. The on and off-track coaching will continue. The drivers will also begin their off-track duties, tending to sponsor and media commitments. At the end of the year they will be invited to our year-end training session. This will be a five day retreat with teaching seminars in the mornings and the social events in the afternoon. The last night will culminate in the AAJRT Awards banquet where we will announce which five drivers advance to the Category 2 and receive the title "Fast Five".

The Fast Five will compete in another season of karting. Category 2 drivers are competing to earn two spots on the AAJRT Elite Team. Elite Team drivers are guaranteed two years of racing in either a professional open wheel or sports car series. 1st year Elite Drivers will compete for a National Karting Championship. 2nd year Elite drivers will compete in either an entry level open wheel or sports car professional racing series and 3rd year Elite Drivers will spend a season in either Indy Lights or the Champcar Atlantic Series or the Rolex GT series. 4th Year Elite drivers will also have a chance to step up to IndyCar and potentially Formula One.

The Casmir Autosport All American Junior Team is a one of a kind driver development program. Never before has talent been the sole determining factor in a motorsports training system. Our All American Junior Racing Team elite drivers will have the on-track record and the off-track poise to be competitive at the next level. Will we nurture the next Foyt, Andretti, Senna, or Schumacher? Time will only tell, but when you take wherewithal out of the equation, thus expanding the talent pool, the numbers are stacked in our favor.
